From Hee Haw stages to the pulpit.
Kenny grew up in the atmosphere of television and country music. His father was a regular on the hit show Hee Hawand a major recording artist, and Kenny set out to follow in his footsteps — performing alongside many of country music's leading artists.
Then one night in 1976, a single question stopped him cold: "Is your life going to make a difference in anyone else's life?" Kenny was dramatically changed. He gave his life to Jesus and decided to spend the rest of it making a difference in others.
For the past 49 years, Kenny has devoted himself to ministry. As pastor and former host of the nationally syndicated TV show Straight Talk From Teens — seen Saturday nights on the ACTS cable network and the Family Network — he has challenged people of every age to take a radical stance for the Kingdom of God.
His refreshing approach mixes high energy with humor, helping the body of Christ face the issues they live with day to day. Today, that same conviction shapes The Fraternity: a ministry built to encourage men to walk out their God-given destiny — and never let up.
Is your life going to make a difference in anyone else's life?
